Hallmark Media is looking for a Director of Product Management for the Hallmark Movies Now (HMN) Subscription Video On Demand service, with a focus on Business Enablers. In this role, you will drive the product definition of our most critical business enablers including CRM, Marketing, and Data. You will collaborate closely with business, design, technical and external partners to ensure appropriate prioritization of business enabler tools to drive measurable impact on acquisition and retention of subscribers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProduct Strategy - Define overarching product strategy and be the subject matter expert for the Business Enabler tools (e.g. CRM, Marketing, and Data), identifying and balancing business desires, subscriber needs and technology constraints/capabilities.Accountable for defining and driving desired business impact from the CRM, Marketing and Data products being managed.Product Roadmap - Prioritize initiative requests to effectively create a product roadmap across CRM, Marketing and Data, identifying new opportunities, synergies and trade-offs.Product Delivery - Create and ensure high quality product delivery across all of the business tools, from story creation and prioritization through launch.Business Stakeholder Management - Collaborate closely with marketing and business insights business partners to ensure the tools satisfy the business needs, balancing competing interests and needs across the organization to arrive at a clear vision, communicating effectively and aligning various partners along the way.Vendor Selection and Management - Establish strategic vendor partnerships. Collaborate effectively with internal and external development partners to ensure appropriate sizing, scoping and delivery of key initiatives to achieve business impact.Promotions Campaign Management - Partner with Marketing and Distribution business partners to define key promotion capabilities needed to drive the business, and ensure effective utilization and execution of promotion campaigns.User Acceptance Testing - Oversee UAT of key initiatives, ensuring the functionality delivers on the desired business need while delivering high quality and timely launches.Impact Assessment - Define metrics for success and measure impact of initiative launches on acquisition and retention of HMNow Subscribers.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS10 or more years of experience working with CRM, Marketing and/or Data platforms, with strong knowledge of industry standard best practices and platforms.Experience overseeing business tools for direct-to-consumer digital products or services.Strong leadership, strategic thinking and practical organizational planning skills.
OTHER REQUIREMENTSExperience in the SVOD industry, with understanding of the technical and client experience differences between web, apps, TV platforms.Superior relationship-building, influence, communication and negotiation skills within cross-functional teams.Deep understanding of the HMN audience demographic, with an ability to identify and articulate relevant opportunities.Nimble and flexible with regards to changing priorities & business needs, and in managing diverse teams & people.Proven multi-tasking skills, ability to meet critical deadlines.Expertise with Agile development, understanding not just the flow of the process, but the rhythm, focus and collaboration it provides.
The salary range for this job is between $159,500 - $207,100 annually. Salary rate will take into consideration several factors including location.
