A trailblazing media agency committed to innovation is seeking an experienced and dynamic CRM/Email Associate Director to join their passionate team! The CRM team is a Klaviyo Elite Master Partner. This means they are in the top 2% of agencies in the world. As CRM/Email Associate Director, you'll lead the development of acquisition and retention strategies for DTC clients. Managing a team of CRM Managers and Analysts, you'll handle high-level strategy, enterprise client relationships, and onboarding, while overseeing campaign calendars and optimizing automation series. Your role extends to advising on loyalty, subscription, and referral programs for various emerging direct-to-consumer brands across industries, involving both program launches and optimizations.

What You'll Do

    • Effectively manage and mentor direct reports to develop their skills as it relate to account management, communication, client services, and retention strategy
    • Ensure deliverables for your clients are completed on-time
    • Proactively look for opportunities for team success/growth.
    • Effectively analyze issues and work to formulate actionable solutions based on findings with minimal direction.
    • Stay current on email best practices and industry standards; continuously recommend new approaches, innovative ideas, and/or technologies to deliver on KPIs.
    • Stay current on emerging technology across the retention space.
    • Assist in the development of managed services for emerging technology
    • Work with Strategists to ensure accuracy, education, and growth are occurring for your team.
    • Effectively communicate with other divisions, as needed.
    • Effectively address client concerns and manage conflict resolution where needed
    • Evaluate ad hoc, weekly, and monthly reporting, and be able to identify trends and potential areas for improvement/shifts to strategy
    • Bring new proactive ideas and solutions oriented strategies to help achieve client goals and grow the business.

What You Need

    • 3+ years of email marketing experience in the e-commerce industry.
    • Extensive experience within Klaviyo and/or another ESP.
    • 2+ years of agency experience.
    • 1+ years of managing a team.
    • 2+ years of client relationship management.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills; team player with ability to communicate well among cross-functional teams.
    • Customer segmentation and database management experience.
    • Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is a must.
    • Strong organizational and presentation skills.
    • Experience compiling, analyzing, and tracking data to aid in decision making.
    • Excellent attention to detail and quality assurance capabilities; willingness to be hands-on.
    • Ability to think strategically and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills; team player with ability to communicate well among cross-functional teams.
    • Proficient in conflict resolution techniques and comfortable speaking on client calls
    • Knowledge of CSS or HTML is a strong plus.

Salary & Benefits

    • Competitive salary.
    • This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position.

    • Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm (+/- 1 hour accepted) - EST.

$90,000 - $130,000 a year
